Birthplace & Education: Yuna was born in Suwon, South Korea. She studied at the Hanlim Multi Art School in the Practical Dance Department, as well as at Yeongbok Girls' Middle School and Suwon Hwayang Elementary School, from which she graduated.

Before Debut: Yuna gained attention even before her debut thanks to her appearance on BTS's Highlight Reel in 2017, where she shared a stage with Jungkook. She was a trainee at JYP Entertainment for approximately three years before her debut.

ITZY Debut: On January 20, 2019, JYP announced the formation of ITZY. Yuna made her official debut on February 12, 2019 with the title track DALLA DALLA, as the youngest member and visual of the group.
