Red Velvet (레드벨벳) is a South Korean girl group consisting of five members—Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri—formed by SM Entertainment. They debuted on August 1, 2014, with the single Happiness (행복). On April 4, 2025, Wendy and Yeri's contract with SM was announced to have ended, but they remain active members of Red Velvet and collaborate with SM for group activities.
