Born in Busan, South Korea, Woozi is an only child who grew up in a musical environment. From a young age, he immersed himself in classical music, playing the clarinet and other band instruments. This early training forged his discipline and exceptional musical ear.
After joining Pledis Entertainment, Woozi underwent 5 years of training before his debut.
