Origins & Education: Born in Seven Hills, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, to Korean parents. He studied at St Patrick's Marist College, a private Catholic school in Sydney.
Trainee & Pre-Debut: He joined JYP Entertainment and trained for about 1 year before the survival show Stray Kids (Mnet). He was eliminated in episode 8 (December 5) and reinstated at the end of episode 9.
